OUR MISSION
Our Company creates immersive site-specific dances, interdisciplinary performance installations, and dance films that explore the relationship among body, landscape, and architecture. Our projects inspire an imaginative and sustainable way of looking at, thinking about, and using space. Philadelphia Weekly describes our site-specific work as “poignant,” “stunning,” and “arresting.”
"Tori Lawrence is quickly becoming known in Philly's dance scene for her site-specific installations that explore connections between architecture and choreography."
CRED MAGAZINE
"Tori Lawrence's choreography, replete with fine articulations and carefully placed tableaux, often resembles a slow-moving sculpture as much as a dance."
LISA KRAUS, THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER
"Tori Lawrence + Co. creates holistic aesthetic experiences, amalgamating many subtle moments into a complete whole that carefully considers all aspects of performance."

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
I examine the inherent spatiality of human life and how we are active participants in the construction of our intimate and global relationships in space. I produce provocative multidisciplinary work that heightens an awareness of how we see, translate, bridge, and compose the inner and outer landscapes of our own being. I want to guide the audience toward an understanding that from spaces, we create, discover, and install places.
