Muirín

DANCE FOR THE CAMERA // 10 MINUTES // 2015

"Muirín" is a 10-minute dance for the camera that was created in West Cork, Ireland during a residency with Claffey Christofi Dance at DanceHouse (Dublin) in June 2014. It features dancer Amy Lynne Barr, original music by Vicki Brown and Thøger Lund, and photography by Christopher Landy. Set in the vast green hills and mystical sea caves of Western Ireland, it closely follows the adventures of a young woman and her small companion (a sea snail).
